My greatest passion is making music, and I'm currently in a great punk rock band here in Lansing: TOAD-EATER! We have a handful of songs out now and are working on a full LP to be released later this year.



Beyond songwriting, singing, and playing bass, I support the band by doing all our graphic design, printing art for cassettes and CDs, and coding our website (our only web presence) by hand with HTML (just as I did with the site you're looking at now).

I was the podcast editor at Central Michigan Life (Central Michigan University's student newspaper) from November 2019 to September 2021. In that time, I recorded, engineered and edited 137 episodes of seven different shows.
The shows I produced and edited in this period are:

• Soundcheck (a music podcast which I hosted for my full tenure)
• Past Deadline (a news podcast which I hosted from August to November 2020)
• Raving Geeks (a geek culture podcast)
• Maroon & Bold (a sports podcast focused on Central Michigan University)
• Earth Day is Every Day (an environmentally-focused limited series for Earth Week 2021)
• Feminist Futura (a short-lived feminism podcast)
• Culture Report (the truncated final season of a Black culture podcast)

I also produced, but didn't edit, three additional shows:

• Level Up Chips (a video game culture podcast)
• Unsportsmanlike Conduct (a sports culture podcast)
• Diverse Voices (a political activism podcast) [show concept, first episode]
